Learning to speak another language is a very important part of education for many people. Even learning basic business Japanese can go a long way towards making a very positive impression as a respectful and capable person who understands the importance of character and honor - two attributes that are critically important in Japan but which are not often seen as a major deal in the United States (unfortunately).
Because of this, while an initial investment in an expensive language learning course might seem a little prohibitive, it will pay off after the very first business dealing in Japan when your character is judged excellent and your new business partners reward your character and respect by awarding you a larger contract, or perhaps you even win a contract that your company wasn't even in the running for prior to learning the language. This is one of the largest advantages of learning to speak Japanese, and a reason that this should be on the top list of things to do among young business people who want to have the skills and ability to quickly ascend in the corporate world due to their success.
While Rosetta Stone programs may be a little out of the price range for the average individual, another excellent option is going with the online tutorials offered by Japanese Rocket Language Learning courses, which is an online 31 part course using video and audio to make learning much easier, as well as an assistance forum and even an entire section that is devoted solely to learning business related Japanese. A New Fishing Blog
I stumbled upon a really good fishing blog recently, all about fishing for northern pike. After briefly browsing through a few of the posts, I have to say that I'm impressed. This author obviously knows his stuff, is willing to share details and strategies, and the writing style has a very nice flow to it. In addition to this, the information goes way above and beyond a lot of the rehashed crap that you find all over niche fishing blogs online. This is also a blog that appears to get a new post once every 1-2 weeks. This might not seem like a lot at first, but there's no arguing with the quality of the posts, as well as their length, and that helps to make up for it.
I've long been a fan of fishing for northern pike, which is another reason why it's nice to see a blog like this beginning to show up in Google as many others that have been set up are really thinly veiled AdSense sites, and I'm just not into that kind of crap. So for you anglers who really want some top notch info on chasing those voracious predators, take a look at the blog. You might be surprised at some of the quality information on there. I know I was, and that's part of the reason I'm behind on my other important work to get done :)
It's never a bad thing to learn from the pros, but it's also really nice to know that there are amateur pike anglers out there who are also willing to share their point of view on the matter. So avoid Wikipedia and crap sites like that, and don't expect a really in detail look from some thinly veiled site.

There is a lot said about college, but so much of it turns out to be untrue, misinformed, or purely outdated. I think that 3rd one gets people in the most trouble compared to the others. So every great once in a while someone comes out and tells things the way they really are...and usually gets booed off stage. It's like Mason Prophet's "2 Hangmen" all over again. Decades later no one learns.
